Earlier this month, Paramount announced its plan to adapt CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 into a movie. Given the game’s already a franchise with a returning anime spinoff, some wondered what exactly that meant. Would we be getting a hard canon version of the original game in two-hour format, or something more like Edgerunners that widens the universe?
It seems the latter’s in the cards, at least according to CDPR’s co-CEO Michał Nowakowski. While talking to Polish outlet PAP Biznes…
