Kubo Care uses radar technology to keep elders safe at home
As families increasingly live in different cities and countries, keeping ageing parents safe at home can be a challenge. Full-time attendants require trust and may not always be reliable, while video cameras can feel intrusive, particularly in bathrooms, where more than half of serious falls occur. Wearable devices such as smartwatches and panic pendants offer another option, but seniors may forget to wear or charge them.

Bengaluru-based Kubo Care is addressing this problem with a system that monitors movement continuously without recording video or audio, while keeping families informed.
The healthtech startup was founded in 2024 by CEO Ayush Agrawal and COO Anurag Ram Chandran. Agrawal, who previously co-founded senior care ecommerce platform Seniority and worked as an AVP at CARS24, experienced the problem firsthand when his father suffered a stroke and fell while alone at home. He remained undiscovered for hours.
