Anthropic renames Claude Max plans and drops Ultra’s five-hour limit
Max 5x is now simply Max, and prices stay at $100 and $200 a month. Weekly limits stay the same, and newer Ultra accounts must be verified first.

Anthropic has renamed its two Claude Max plans and dropped the five-hour usage limit on the more expensive one. It now calls the $100-a-month Max 5x plan Max, and the $200 Max 20x plan Ultra. Prices stay the same, the company said on X on Friday.
