Syncere, a Palo Alto-based startup, has raised $11 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the production and commercialization of its Lume robot lamp. The round was led by a16z Speedrun, with participation from Draper Associates, Physical World, Sequel, and SeaX Ventures. Lume doubles as a high-end lamp and a mobile home robot capable of performing household tasks.
