Dropbox is acquiring Tigris Data for $350 million, the biggest purchase in its history. The deal, set to close in late 2026, will fuel DBX Agent Cloud, a new multi-cloud storage service for AI workloads. Tigris, founded by former Uber engineers, has grown eightfold every year since its 2021 launch and raised $25 million last year.
